This is for all Zambians, Zambians in the diaspora and friends to Zambia who want to see a better Zambia, a better tomorrow.
Zambia (official name: Republic of Zambia) is in south central Africa, bounded on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Tazania; on the east by Malawi; on the southeast by Mozambique; on the south by Zimbabwe, Botswana, and the Caprivi Strip on Namibia; and on the west by Angola. The area is 752,614 sq km (290,586 sq mi) with a population of 13,817,479 (July 2012 est.) and a population growth rate of 2.49 percent change. One sad things that can be observed over the past decades is that poverty levels have kept on increasing despite the country’s economic growth recorded in the country’s mining sector.
This site endeavours to (1) make the voice of the voiceless heard, (2) be a forum for the general public to share ideas and interact with their politicians, (3) inform the general public on decision made by their politicians.

We live in one of the richest countries in Africa amidst some of the poorest people in the world. This paradox of poverty is simply unacceptable. With that in mind, we shall never be tired to call on the government to introduce windfall tax and formulate policies that strives to change the current situation.
Lums Martin and Josiah Phiri founded Better Zambia (NGO) which exists to use ICTs to empower young people and develop Zambia. We are into programming and system administration. At Better Zambia, we also generate ideas to add onto the country’s knowledge base. Mr Phiri is a third year student studying Development Studies and Public Administration at the University of Zambia (UNZA) in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Stay blessed our esteem readers.
